Materials & tools
- Stable tray
- Soft clean cloth
- Optional new utensil or securely held coin
- Small flower bowl
- Separate envelope for receipts
Step-by-step instructions
- Choose a tray that comfortably supports the item without overhanging edges.
- Dust the tray and line it with a soft clean cloth if that suits the object. Keep cloth away from any flame area.
- Check the item’s care instructions. Leave protective packaging in place when removal could damage the finish or complicate inspection.
- Set a utensil flat or keep a coin in its own secure holder. Do not balance jewellery on an unstable stand.
- Add a small separate flower bowl if desired, leaving the object easy to lift. Keep liquids and colour powder off the surface.
- After the family observance, store valuables appropriately and keep the receipt with the product information.
Good to know
- Do not attach decorations directly to jewellery or plated metal.
- Keep small coins away from young children.
- A reused household utensil can be displayed if no new purchase is planned.
