Step-by-step instructions
- Clean and dry the thali, bowls and side table. Choose a location clear of the door swing and walking route.
- Place roli and rice in separate small bowls if they are part of your household welcome.
- Add a flower or a small petal cluster without covering the bowls or making the tray slippery.
- Set the LED diya on a flat part of the tray and check that its battery cover is secure.
- Lift the tray carefully to check balance, then return it to the table rather than leaving it on the floor.
- After the welcome, put away powders and small items safely, switch off the LED and wipe the tray before storing it.
