Maa Kalaratri

Fearlessness and protection, choose a quiet, grounded ritual and let the day feel spacious.

Read about Maa Kalaratri →

The Maa Kalaratri guide offers a quiet pause in the family’s Navratri plan. Choose a short prayer and one gratitude note instead of adding another large task. The five-minute reflection can be done with a battery candle if an open flame is unsuitable.

Plan ahead

Set a stable, fire-safe surface away from cloth and paper. Keep the gratitude note outside the flame area and nominate an adult to supervise. If you plan halwa, chana and puri for the closing observances, check the local date and allow overnight soaking for chana.

Common questions

Can the gratitude activity use a battery candle?

Yes. A battery candle suits this optional reflection activity. Your family can decide what is appropriate for its separate devotional practice.

Is my note automatically shared with other people?

No. Yojno’s memory section saves notes privately to your signed-in account. Sharing needs an explicit action; keep other people’s personal details out of anything you choose to share.
